The Little Stars class is a specialized class that is designed to prepare our youngest students to enter the world of Martial Arts. The Little Stars meet Tuesdays at 5:30PM only. They are given personal instruction on their first Tae Kwon Do achievement, their yellow belt, in small, progressive steps. Basic Tae Kwon Do skills are introduced and the focus of the class is to develop physical coordination and increasing flexibility while introducing them to the world of Tae Kwon Do.
Classes are structured with the younger student in mind, incorporating play with learning. While it may not be run as a traditional class is, everything is geared towards helping students be successful in Tae Kwon Do. Tumbling, bubbles, and even the hokey pokey all have part in the lessons taught to these future Martial Artists. Graduates of the Little Stars class will be able to enter regular classes (when of age) with a yellow belt to start, or further if they are more advanced in their training. The Little Stars are the future of Martial Arts, and will carry on it's traditions.
